Toilet paper only!
The only product that should be flushed down the toilet is toilet paper! Many products will claim to be flushable, but products other than toilet paper should NOT be flushed! Paper towels, wipes and anything other than toilet paper belong in the trash. Any other items can cause plugs in home plumbing, sewer mains and pumps! For further details please click Here

BRUSH AND YARD WASTE DROP OFF (Currently open Monday through Friday 8:30am-3:30pm)

You may currently drop off all yard waste at DPW (grasses, leaves and other compostable material, as well as natural woody material such as trees and branches). This service is available Monday thru Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we ask that you follow all CDC recommendations for social distancing when depositing materials in the yard.
Yard Debris RoadSpring is here, and with the nice weather yard work season begins. We would like to take a moment to remind you of the Grandville Code of Ordninances 14-3 which states:

Sec. 14-3. - Deposit of unwholesome substances prohibited.

No person shall, within the limits of the city, by himself or herself or by another, throw, place, deposit or leave in the street, lane, alley, public place or square, any animal or vegetable substance, dead animals, fish, shavings, dirt, rubbish, excrement, filth, unclean or nauseous water or liquor, hay, straw, soot, offal, garbage, swill, or any other article or substance whatever which may cause any offensive, unwholesome or nauseous smell, or endanger the health of the public.

Street lights are owned and maintained by Consumer's Energy.

POTHOLESSnowy winter conditions can cause patched potholes to reoccur without warning. Use care when you see potholes and contact the Department of Public Works (DPW) to filled or refilled the potholes.
