Environmental Sustainability Committee

Grandville Environmental Sustainability Committee assists the City by making studies and holding public sessions in order to raise the level of public understanding of environmental sustainability issues and challenges, as well as best practices found in similar communities.

Focus areas for the Committee may include air quality, water quality, resource protection, invasive species, waste reduction, composting and energy efficiency within the City of Grandville.

The Committee encourages public discussion and dialogue on these issues. Based upon these efforts, the Committee will offer recommendations to the City Council. These recommendations will provide valuable guidance and assist with final decision-making on initiatives, policies and projects which are of a "Green" nature.

This Committee, as with all City committees, is to be focused on improving the quality of life in our City, making Grandville an even better place to live, work, and play.  Visit here for more sustainability information.

Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at City Hall. Join us!
