Winter Parking Regulations
Don’t forget our winter parking ordinance prohibits parking on
the public streets or municipally regulated parking lots between the
hours of 2:00 AM and 8:00 AM, from December 1 through March 31.
Snowplowing
 The Grandville Department of Public
Works makes a tremendous effort to keep our streets well maintained
during the winter months.
Things to remember:
- Follow the winter parking ordinance so streets can be easily
cleared.
- Do not shovel or snow blow snow into the street.
- Place your trash container on your driveway between the
sidewalk and the curb, not in the street or on the sidewalk.
These reminders will help us clear the streets more quickly and
thoroughly.
Potholes
Please report potholes within city limits to the Grandville
Department of Public Works. We make every effort to respond and fill
them as soon as we know they exist. The snowy winter conditions can
cause patched potholes to reoccur without warning. Use care when you
see these conditions and contact the Department of Public Works so
these potholes can be filled or refilled.
Mailboxes
Mailboxes are sometimes damaged during our plowing season. In
some cases mailboxes will be replaced. Please contact the Department
of Public Works.
