Property Transfer Affidavit
 

Property Transfer Affidavit

A "Property Transfer Affidavit" must be filed with the City Assessor whenever there is a transfer of ownership. The buyer, grantee, or a transferee of any property must file this form within 45 days of the transfer or a penalty of $5.00 per day (maximum $200) applies.

Principal Residence Exemption Affidavit

To qualify for the Principal Residence Exemption you must own and occupy the property as your legal principal residence. Qualified homeowners can receive up to an 18-mill tax reduction by filing a Principal Residence Exemption with the Assessor.

Request to Rescind/Withdraw Principal Residence Exemption

A Request to Rescind/Withdraw Principal Residence Exemption form must be filed with the City Assessor when your property no longer qualifies for the exemption.
