and Wilson Ave. traffic signal.

ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
City
Manager Krombeen explained the request from Scott T. Bosgraaf Trust
to establish an Industrial Development District on the property at
2950 Prairie. A public hearing on the district request was held on
September 10, 2007. Previously, there were a number of districts
created at the time the building was added on to or new equipment
was brought in. The entire building has not been included in a
district. The request is to make the entire building and one
existing outbuilding a single district that would allow tenants to
apply for a tax abatement if they qualify. Originally, the property
owner requested the entire parcel be included in a district but City
Council directed the owner to limit the district to the footprint of
the building. The applicant did provide a new legal description on
the buildings. Justin Misner from Bosgraaf Commercial was in
attendance. Motion made by Council Member Gates, supported by
Council Member Maas, to approve Resolution No. 2814, establishing
Industrial Development District No. 93 for Scott Bosgraaf Trust,
2950 Prairie SW. The motion was unanimously APPROVED by roll call
vote.
